this is for my social studies brochure..ahhhhhhh! fuck new edition comps w/o publisher!



8:00- you will be boarding a tour bus were you will be headed to The ancient chinese art muesuem to learn about different types of art and their influences from the Shang Dynasty,Ch'in Dynasty, Sung Dynasty, T'ang Dynasty, and the Ming Dynasty. Remember to bring your camara's!

11:30- You will be leaving the muesuem and headed towards Aria, a wonderful restuarant located at the famous China Hotel.

12:00- Get ready to board the bus on a full stomach, because your now going on a tour of the forests of Northeast China where you might get to see deer, reindeer, and even tigers!

2:30- We will be heading back to the hotel where in the lobby will be a live performance by the Naxi people who will be playing Taoism music that has been orally handed down dateing back to the Tang Dynasty.

4:00- Go back to your room and relax for a big night on the town.

6:30- We will be boarding the bus to go to the Shang Dynasty buffet, were you will be served ancient chinese food such as rice, millet, and sorghum. Enjoy a cup of tea with it!

7:30- for the rest of the night until 10:00, you are free to explore the ancient city. Look into the shops were you will see clothes made out of raime and hemp.

Day 3

7:00- enjoy a nice breakfast down at the hotel lobby

8:30- get ready to ease your soul with this day of peace and worshipping. You will first be headed to the temple of Taoism where you will learn the teachings of Lao Tsu. This  says that people should try to live in harmony with the universe, rather than fighting it. Instead of living by rigid rules and laws, people should try to work with the natural way of the world, and in this way their lives would be easier and happier.

11:00- get ready to go eat lunch at the luxurious Mcdonalds. Yes, there is even a Mcdonalds in China.

12:30- You will be off for more worshipping at the temple of Confucianism. Here you will be taught that  people should recognize their responsibilities to the larger society, and work to uphold the laws and customs of their society.

3:00- you will be heading back to the hotel where you will be free to relax until dinner.

6:00- There is a picnic dinner scheduled at the Forbiddon Palace, where the emporers used to live

8:30- You'll return to the hotel.

Day 4

7:00- breakfast in the lobby

8:30- Lace up your tennis shoes because the bus will be dropping you off at the famous Gobi Dessert where you will begin a 3 mile bike ride in the hot China sun!

11:30- The bus will meet at a destined location in the dessert and take you back to the hotel where you can shower, eat lunch in the lobby, and relax before the muesuem tour.

2:00-  Right across the street from the hotel, you will be visiting the Chinese history muesuem of Dunghuang art. You will see some of the grottoes where men created a mystical dreamland to traffic in ideas completely opposite the commercial ends of the legendary Silk Road or life day-to-day difficulties.

4:30-  The bus will be picking you up to dine at a down town authentic sushi bar.

Day 5

7:00- breakfast in the lobby. time will also be given for packing and shopping at the hotel gift shop.

10:00- The tour bus will come to pick you up for one last adventure. You're going to the 4,163 mile long, Great Wall of China!  This is a once in a lifetime expirience to tour across one of the 7 wonders of the world. Learn about it's history of over 2,000 years.

12:30- sack lunches will be provided on your way back to the hotel to get your belongings.

2:00- the bus will pick you up and take you to the airport to board your flight. The plane leaves around 3:30.
