After the last episode of The Vampire Diaries, I think I'm now shipping Elena/Damon pretty hard. I've no idea what happened, but that dance scene... the chemistry was sizzling hot in there and the way they looked at each other... every cell in my body longed for it. How big is our age differences?? I can't believe you knew next to nothing about Madonna's songs!! *g*. I love her songs. I don't necessarily love her but I grow up with her songs. She's simply a smart woman, to survive the 80's, 90's, and 2000's. Not many can do that

I'm only 22 :P So we've got nearly a decade? I suppose I didn't get very into music until late... probably around my high school years I only just started paying attention to specific artists and whatnot. Although I remember getting very much into Britney Spears during my junior high years...

Ooh, I watched Ice Princess too, except it was ages ago and of course I don't remember the song. But yeah, I think I'm the same as you. I definitely know of her, I just never cared to find out more or listen to her music other than the occasional accidentally stumbling into moments. It's probably the case too - about how Glee made it more friendly to our amateur ears - because I've always liked the Glee versions better of nearly all the songs they've covered so far.

I guess the writers are listening to the shippers! I'm really intrigued to see how far this will go. Because I think a real love triangle will be pretty awesome.

The only Madonna song I didn't know was "Burning up" (wasn't in the episode tho,it's a bonus song that Jesse sings)...

I'm a bit hesitant to ship Elena/Damon because I still can't get over the things Damon has done so far but the chemistry was so there in that dance scene,whoa!

I know, but in these past few episodes, do you notice how much of a role reversal it has been between Damon and Stefan? Seriously, watching them lately it's like Stefan's become the unstable, psychotic brother and Damon's the responsible one. I've really grown to love him lately!

I lost count of the amount of times I swooned while watching Vampire Diaries this week. Before, I thought that Stefan was amazing, and Damon would just be a nice quick fling to have. But lately... Damon's been slightly wonderful. His good guy is coming out a bit and it meshes nicely with the bad boy attitude. But I'm not gonna lie. I'd take either brother if the option was presented to me ;)

I know, lately they've switched roles pretty much and Damon's totally become the responsible one and the hero (he did save the day and tried his best to protect Elena!). But yes, both of them are hard to pick from :D
