So I might have just kind of sorta signed up for
lotsbigbang.
I DON'T KNOW WHY I THINK I WILL HAVE TIME TO DO THIS.
I just know that I really want to write some Legend of the Seeker fan fiction, and especially something epic and long and... oh, man, I'm not good at epic and long. I'm very good at writing short stories because I can end it in one go. But my

Yeah, I mean, I'm no huge Gale/Katniss shipper (hard to be when, as you said, we know Peeta so much better), but, for now, I'm rooting for them or no one because it would just make me uncomfortable if Katniss chose Peeta at this point. That could change with the last one, of course but, for now, I think it's one of those things that might even ruin the whole series for me, since it wouldn't make sense.
I have a novel I'm sort of working one and my problem is I've actually grown more interested in the supporting characters, lol! Have you read much epic fantasy? That's kind of a random question, but they tend to have a lot of minor characters/side plots, so I think reading them kind of helps me open up my worlds.

I don't think I read much epic fantasy. I tried reading LotR - the first book - and it was a big struggle trying to finish it. But HP also has a big universe with tons of characters, so I get that. It's just generally easier to write a big world if you're writing fantasy because you basically have to create your own universe.

Oh man, although I'm pretty much spoiled about the movie (Leap Year), I'm 100% with you. It gets even harder for me if two of those characters are married and the spouse turns out to be a jerk. (Alias is a good example, but then again they were spies and Syd was there first and Lauren was REALLY evil, so I was kind of ok with that.) But for other kind of marriages, I just don't buy the spontenous, life changing sudden love affairs. I think I need more substance in my romantic relationships, but in fiction and real life.

Sorry to have spoiled you! Kind of hard to talk about it without spoiling.
