This is the type of story I think I need to read a few times before it really sinks in.

When I was working certain details into the story, I did it in several layers (which was painful and slow and probably not very smart).
So to hear you say that is very satisfying.

This is one of the most amazing fics I've ever read. Wow. I finished it last night but couldn't think clearly enough to comment til this morning.

I loved it, up until Dean left. He left Sammy? His car? His weapons? Sam's gonna find him. Sam doesn't want to stay at school without Dean.

I guess I just have to believe Sam and Dean belong together. At least that's my reality in this universe lol.

Oh, I do believe Sam and Dean belong together.
The way Dean sees it, though, the two of them traveling/working together are a walking bull's eye for humans and nonhumans alike. If he can take this step, everything else is replaceable.

I did have an idea for a sequel while I was in the middle of writing this.
The reason I'm leaning towards leaving it alone is because, with the way this story ended, it is their happy ending (which says a lot about the poor Winchesters). They each know they're the single most important part of the other's life, and they've managed to come to a resolution of sorts.

The sap in me wants to see something beyond this, as well, but I don't want to promise something I might not finish. (I'll try)

That was incredible! A wonderful slow build to the relationship and then very HOT sex. I'm sad that Dean left Sam. I can't believe that Sam will leave it there. Somehow he has to convince Dean that they BOTH need each other. I hope there is a sequel to this.

I did have an idea for something set a few years after this, but I'm quite happy with how things ended at this point.
