SixTONES go to the sea
The Story:
The best day ever with Shiritori, Sea, and Seafood BBQ!
● 9:00AM. SixTONES members who gathered somewhere in Tokyo are going to the long-awaited sea! (In the bus) as soon as Jesse turned on BGM while eating some food, Kyomoto and Juri fell asleep into dreams. The other members started playing Shiritori with the theme "things you can see”. At first it started with Jesse saying "Yane (Roof)" and Kouchi followed with "Navy” ...and it seemed to go well, but Jesse’s free-spirited answers got controversial... Now we’ll introduce all Jesse's weird answers and other’s reactions to them! (note: in this shiritori game, they can only use words of things they can actually see!!)

Jesse: (When surrounded by high walls on the highway) "Gateway!”
Kouchi: “Where!”
Jesse: “I mean the cars' doors!”
Shintaro: “We don’t call them gateways..”

Kouchi: “Home is ok?”
Hokuto: “Do you mean house or residence?”
Shintaro: “We can say Car as well then!”
(note: Jesse said "Ouchi" which is a polite form of saying "Uchi", adding 'O' in front of words turns them into polite form. This way is considered cheating in shiritori game because you can add 'O' to any word and you will be saved lol. Car in Japanese is 'Kuruma' but Shintaro said: "we can say 'Okuruma' as well then")

Jesse: “The earth!!!”
Hokuto & Kouchi & Shintaro: “We can’t see it!”

Shintaro: “The scale is way too big!”

Jesse: “A branch of a tree!!!” (Ki no eda!)
Kouchi: “You can just say Tree...” (Ki) (note: because they both start with 'Ki' anyways lol)
Jesse continued to push through his ideas and their screening standards got unclear, and finally, Hokuto was struggling with “ru”.. and said: “Is it ok to say ruccola (that’s possibly growing under weeds) or Romania (that you can possibly see from far away)?” Eventually the game lasted for more than an hour, and Kouchi had a bitter smile and said “Why am I so tired before the shooting?”
● Kyomoto and Juri woke up. Juri said: “It’s been a year since the last time here in Kujukuri” and Kyomoto said: “Just recently, I went to Atami with (Morita) Myuto, Moro (Morohoshi Shoki), Shime (Shimekake Ryuya) and Miyachika (Kaito). We swam in the sea in a light rain at that time, but it is good that it’s sunny today!”
The six headed for the shore looking up at the blue sky. Shintaro said: “There are lots of seashells!” They touched the sand and Kouchi said: “You want clams?” and all waved to kids playing there while Hokuto said: “How cuute!!” In such an atmosphere like holidays, Jesse lightly ran on the shore singing “Na-nairono-kagayakiga-” (note: Hana Egao, theme song for Sprout) and reproduced the opening video of the drama that Juri and himself were in, Sprout.
The first one who went inside the sea was Shintaro! He screamed “Guys!” jumped over the waves reaching them and went more and more offshore with Juri saying “Let’s go as far as we can!” They turned around at the point 20m away and dashed toward the shore... but Juri fell into the water on his head! “I tumbled! Cough cough” His serious fall made everyone surprised! From far away, Kouchi who said: “I like to look at the sea but not to swim in it” and Kyomoto who said: “I can’t without a flotation ring” were both looking at the other members never-stop-playing.
● After having fun at the sea, We decided to go somewhere to eat. Here (in the bus), Kyomoto closed his eyes again and Kouchi was exhausted saying “I’m now getting damaged from the game on our way here.” However, Jesse instantly started the shiritori game again with “Sea! (Umi)" Shintaro followed with “Road! (Michi)" and Juri started to think for the next answer "Chi-- Chi--". Then Hokuto joined them “Hey Juri, I'm next”.
Jesse and others were getting more and more excited vs. Kouchi who was struggling to sleep. Moreover, Jesse changed the game “Next is Magical banana game! Magical banana! Banana reminds me of Kochi!” (note: Magical banana is a word association game) Shintaro went on: “Kou-chi!” and Juri: “Kou-chi!” The never-ending Kouchi chant in disregard of the rules gave him a bitter smile and no time to sleep…
● Arriving at the place to eat, they separated into two groups; Jesse, Kyomoto, Kouchi and Hokuto, Shintaro, Juri, and started to order mainly seafood. Shintaro said “10,000 clams please!” joking of course. Everyone said “Wow!!” super excited to see the assortment of big turbos and clams! They instantly began to grill them in front of them. Juri briskly worked, turning the clams over.
On the other hand, at the Jesse’s table no one would work. Jesse finally tried to turn a clam over, but it was too big to do it well… Kouchi couldn’t just stand by and so he grabbed a pair of tongs and said “OK, I’ll do it!” He offered his help again when Kyomoto was struggling to take turbos out of the shell, “Let me help you” But Kyomoto couldn’t be meek, he said “I just intentionally acted as a clumsy guy in order to increase his popularity”
Then they got full and ordered ice creams. Juri who finished all the ice cream and left his ice cream cone had a grin and did something secretly. And with a big smile, “Kouchi! Wanna try some matcha?” offering his ice cream. Kouchi tried to receive it saying “Thank…” but quickly reacted “Hey this is wasabi!” (A scoop of wasabi was nicely on it). Juri who failed his prank headed for the next target...... “Hey, Hokuto!!!!”........... (note: I wonder what happened next lol)
Maybe because they had been too playful, most of the members were ZZZ on the bus going back to Tokyo. “We made a good memory”, said Hokuto looking happy.
SixTONES comments and where they wanna go next time
Morimoto Shintaro: I like the sea after all! When I feel it's kind of chilly, I'd forget it and gather my power to play around lively. Next time, I want to go to unexplored places. Like climbing over a steep mountain road with everyone, and seeing a beautiful lake. That type of adventure is really fun and I love it!
Matsumura Hokuto: I haven't made a mountain with the sand in a while. In the past, I would try to see how large I can make it until the next wave comes because it would draw it back. In private, it's kinda difficult for me to ask them "Let's go to the sea, all of us" so today I really had a lot of fun!!
Tanaka Juri: We haven't done it for real in a while! I was kinda making a merry~! I already like the sea, and being with all 6 members here, we got really excited of course! It was the first time in 3 months that we all had cooked rice together! Usually when Shokura recording is finished, we would just go and eat ramen at the NHK restaurant lol.
Jesse: When I go to the sea with my family, we mainly do fishing rather than going into the water. We also use a metal detector and pick up cans that are buried in the sand. The wind was strong today, for the first time, I've experienced throwing a ball and having it returned to me by itself lol.
Kyomoto Taiga: The sea and the sands were spacious, I've had an unleashing feeling as if I was somewhere overseas. It was such a nice refreshment~! Next time, I want to go with everyone to visit various temples! I usually go to see temples by myself, so If we all could go, I'm gonna think of a plan! <3
Kouchi Yugo: I solely took turbos out of the shell for everyone. I sort of like doing that kind of things lol. I searched for some shells on the beach, and I found a beautiful clam!!! I want to go hiking with everyone this Summer!
