photo stiching software?

Can anyone recommend some decent photo-stiching software (for putting together panorama shots from digital cameras)?

Te software that comes with Canon digital cameras is supposed to be good and easy to use. PhotoStich.

I don't know how it is now, but it used to give ultra dark seams.

I've used Hugin, free open source stuff, before, which works pretty well. Sometimes it works very well, and sometimes it is really annoying, like all free stuff.

I've seen good output from autostitch. However, windows only.
