One-shot Challenge 2: “Fairytale”

Guidelines (Please read carefully):
- You do not need to be a member to participate
- One-shots must be a minimum of 1,000 words and no longer than 10,000 words
- You must include the Arthur/Gwen pairing
- You can submit up to TWO entries for this challenge
- Your one shot/s must include the theme “Fairytale”
- The prompts listed below can be used as inspiration for ideas (i.e. You do not have to use any of the prompts). If prompts are being used, please specify
- Entries must be original (i.e. Never posted anywhere before)
- Entries will remain anonymous until winners are announced
- Entries must be emailed in either a docx or doc format (although doc format is preferred)
- Entries must be emailed to the following address: a_g_fanfic@hotmail.com with the following information:

Theme: “Fairytale”

Prompt ideas:
- Arthur/Gwen find and take in a stray animal (i.e. Maybe an enchanted stray animal - Puss in Boots, the Golden Goose or something?)
- Arthur is turned into a frog.
- Morgause tricks Gwen into eating an enchanted poisoned apple.
- A giant attacks Camelot after Merlin acquires some magic beans.
- Arthur has to rescue Gwen from a giant by climbing up a beanstalk.
- Morgana is the bad fairy godmother at the christening of Arthur and Guinevere's child.
- A jealous queen vying for Arthur's attention orders for Gwen to be killed.
- "Mirror, mirror on the wall; who is the fairest of them all?"
- Rumpelstiltskin/Tom-Tit-Tot turns up to make claim on a child he was promised many years ago (Arthur or Gwen, maybe?)
- Merlin plays 'Fairy Godfather' to Gwen by dressing her up for a masked ball.
- Someone pricks their finger on a spinning wheel.

EDIT: Here are a few suggested links of fairytales for your to check out in case you are stumped or aren't sure if your idea is fairytale line. Remember though we don't mind how you use the fairytale theme -- you can use the themes in all seriousness or even take the mick by having the characters mock the land of fairytale. It's entirely up to you!
