I'm normally a grumpy no-fun old coot, but when it comes to my pets and animals in general I'm just a softy. (At least I've become a softy - before I met my wife, I was indifferent to dogs and pets as much as the next grump.)

PAWS has been a favorite cause of mine since, oh, 2004? When they used to offer free spaying and neutering. (They don't any more, which is a pity.) Ramon and I try and donate a bag of cat kibble for the sake of the kitties every year.
