Those are the words of Jerry Brown in referring to how the Lakers have gone into a full 180-degree turn since Shaquille O'Neal left. And I guess the same can be said for these NBA Playoffs, which has been nothing short of crazy and stunning. Oh yeah, how the mighty have fallen.

First to fall were the Miami Heat. Okay, 2nd to the Orlando Magic, but ( Read more... )

if the Nuggets won, it would have been cherry on the serving of ice cream called Year of the Underdog. Besides, it would have at least assured the Suns of the conference finals, and im rooting for the Suns in the West.

as for the East, long shot ang Nets, pero heck, its a 5 year habit. J-Kidd's a future Hall of Famer (or at least a shoo-in for the 2000 legends team in a 2020 version of NBA Live), it would be a shame if he retired like Malone or Stockton. same goes for Carter.

hopefully, this playoffs would mean that more teams would adapt run and gun tactics. yung tipong parang PBA noong mid 90s na both teams would combine for at least 200 points each game.

haha. okay lang naman sakin 'yun run and gun, but I still appreciate the traditional hi-lo, small-big, post up plays. that's why i like Detroit, and it's okay if SA wins. ang ayaw ko lang talaga 'yun mga hold the ball 'til the clock runs down to 10 and gun, 'yun mga tipong Kobe Lakers or Wade Heat. i mean, there's so much you could do with the ball, move it for starters, haha. ang pangit ng larong ganun eh, 'yun puro isolation tapos andaming bad shots dahil namamadali dahil naubos na yun oras sa kaka- isolate.

don't get me wrong, but wade and kobe are great players, i just don't like their style. i'm not taking anything away from them.

Hey, I rooted for the Warriors! XD The Clippers really have to do something. Dunleavy isn't doing too well, and I don't like his weird decisions.

Shaq should get his head checked. Ang yabang pa rin, di mo alam kung maiinis ka or mabibilib ka. How long must he delude himself?

And Barkley should just shut up. (...On second thought, wag na lang... mas masaya kapag nagkakamali siya eh.)

The Wizards just have to build on next year. They're getting rid of Brendan Haywood, did you hear? After the 1st round, Haywood didn't have a locker at their arena.
