I have a QUESTION: i put songs on my ipod from my computer, all is fine. but whe i try to put songs on from my laptop a message comes up saying that my ipod is linked to another itunes library and wants to know if id like to replace all the songs already on my ipod with the ones from this computer. but i want songs from both. is there any way to do ( Read more... )

you can't do it, for this reason: it's the same as, say, putting songs from your computer and then going to a friend's house and putting songs from her computer (read: stealing her music) on your ipod. basically you have to have all your music on one computer.

copy laptop songs to desktop or get 3rd party software to get around this. a google search should find some.

actually, i just remembered this: if you enable disk mode on the ipod you can just put the songs from the laptop onto the ipod and then onto the desktop, then all onto the laptop. you might even be able to do it from both that way, not sure though.
