The other 7 volunteers headed to Durban for this weekend, which left just the three Canadians hanging out at Klipkop. And Paul, the head guy when it comes to fires on the reserve, was away for the weekend so Deon was on stand-by for that position. Sounds like a great time to fight our first wildfire, right? :-) Andrew and I had just finished

Hey Jocelyn - I've been getting your messages and they made me smile. It sounds like South Africa is awesome and crazy and all over the place - an experience, for sure. I'm, of course, having my own little kind of experience living cut off from my family and whatnot and trying to make ends meet, trying to pay rent, working my ass off, and the so-forth. I hope you have a good last week - make it one that counts. I'm incredibly jealous of you for your experiences and your drive... the spirit of the Fire lives on.

haha I wish i had been out with you! if you want the EXACT opposite experience come to costa rica with me, but in the short term freddy night life is ours next year! haha
