Hmmm...I haven't been very attentive to you lately lj, have I.  I just want you to know that I still love you mostly, exept for the whole second censorship debacle.  If enough people leave I suppose I will have to set up a mirror-blog somewhere else, but that would be bitchy and timeconsuming so I don't really want to go there unless I have to ( Read more... )

Heh. I'd rather be in England, too, decorating a nice Victorian cottage. :) As far as London goes, the only thing I did there when I visited England a while back was to go to Westminster Abbey and cry over history (and the Poet's Corner). Otherwise, my time was spent outside London, alternately getting drenched and dehydrated from the sweltering heat. XD

Wow, I did just that today! Except for the crying, that is. Byron's stone was a bit emotional for me though, I have to admit <3.

They have some great museums there. Like the Victoria & Albert museum is pretty cool. They mainly have different textiles from throughout British history. I thought it was amazing.

Um, other than that I am kinda stumped at the moment. Let me get back to you on that.

How is London :D?

London is pretty awesome so far, we did the whole Buckingham Palace and Westmister Abbey thing today. The museum sounds pretty cool too, I will have to look into that :D
How's your summer been so far?

I feel very much the same about the moving thing being bitchy and time-consuming :/ Am glad to hear that you'll (probably) be staying here too.

Did/are you manage/ing to save the Victorian cottage from death-by-Ikea? Is it in the country?

Eep, had you already paid for the tickets online?? Bach's Deathday concert sounds pretty good though :)

Are you still in London?

Yes! The house is saved, we only have one ikea bed!
The cottage is in a sort of suburban area, but close enough to London to make it a fairly quick trip which is pretty cool.
