 Ok, so I've narrowed it down to two colleges from eight now.  The way I see it, both of the programs are set up similarly, only at Pratt the Illustration focus starts in the second year and in the third year at CSM.  Pratt has academic courses which  CSM does not. They're both in big cities.  Pratt is apparently more solid on learing technique.
