i can't help but think whenever I'm on the california incline how one mediocre earthquake would sort of fix the mess we made of that part of santa monica ... the pier is rubbish and all that parking lot on the beach ... yup one good earthquake

lol yeah no kidding. i cringe whenever i hear people saying they want to go to the pier.
