Summary: Yunho's got a new job in Tokyo and feels lonely. Then his new boss arrives...

Yunho looked out the window and sighed. Rain. He loved the rain. He loved it on a freezing cold raining Sunday when he could snuggle up in a duvet on his sofa and watch TV all day with a hot chocolate next to him.

But, alas, ever since he got this new job, he never had a free Sunday. He never had a free second. His whole life was work.

Jung Yunho worked in a research lab. Well, he wasn’t sure if lab was the right word. He developed electronic devices for the infamous Odagiri company. They made everything from TV’s to boats, mobile phones to saxophones. He, Yunho, was currently working on a snazzy new touch screen phone, kinda like an iPhone, but better.

Aside from the long hours his new job ensued, Yunho had had to move to Japan. Tokyo, to be precise. Fortunately, he spoke enough Japanese to survive, but he was by no means confident in this skill. He figured he’d soon pick the rest up. However, since Yunho had moved to Tokyo, all he’d learnt was techo talk - how to talk about electronics. Not something one needs in their everyday life. Unless they work for Odagiri Electronics, apparently.

Today, the whole work place was abuzz with gossip - a new boss was coming in today. A Japanese - Korean. Both his parents were from Seoul, but he was born and brought up right here in Tokyo. Kim something. Rumor had it he was an extremely cold, no shit no nonsense type of guy. Just what Yunho needed. This Kim guy was apparently fluent in both Japanese and Korean, and could speak decent Mandarin and English. Clearly some form of machine.

Yunho had been hoping to sneak out and hideaway in a coffee shop, watching the rain. Quite frankly, the idea of meeting his new boss scared the crap out of him. All to soon however, the elevator bell rang, and all the employees working in his sector were told to go to the main foyer. Yunho joined the hub trudging out, trying to ignore the rumors about their new boss locking people in freezers. It couldn’t possibly be true, could it?

Yunho heard his new boss before he saw him. A powerful voice rang throughout the foyer, silencing everyone. Yunho craned his neck above the crowd, but still couldn’t see the man. He must be short.

“Konnichiwa. My name is Kim Jaejoong, but you may call me Kim Jejung if you find it easier to pronounce.” Yunho could almost hear the smirk in the man’s voice as he spoke.
“I am very honored to be working here, and I hope you work hard for me and we get along.  Arigatou gozaimasu.” Short but sweet. Yunho liked it.

It was then, just as the crowd was dispersing that Yunho saw him. His boss. A blond haired porcelain skinned stunner. His high cheek bones seemed to accentuate the cold eyes, the expressionless face confirmed all the rumors Yunho had heard.

“What’s you name?” Yunho jumped. Everyone else was gone, it was just him and Jaejoong now. Shit.
“Er, Jung Yunho sir.”
“Another Korean, huh?”
“Hahah, yeah…” Yunho laughed nervously, and cringed inside as he saw Kim Jaejoong raise an eyebrow.
“Well, I hope you feel at home here in Japan. Tokyo is a wonderful city and you musr feel privileged to be working for a most prestigious company, ne?”
“Er, yes sir, I’m sure you’ll like it here…”
“Excuse me? Are you an idiot?”
“Um, I, um, I need to go now, sir. Arigatou gozaimasu.” Yunho bowed and tried not to run away. He had no idea what the hell his boss had been talking about! Something to do with Japan, Tokyo and the company. He figured that Jaejoong had been talking about himself settling in, but apparently not. Great. Now his boss thought he was an idiot.

Kim Jaejoong had been working there for a week now, and not another word had passed between him and Yunho. For this, Yunho was relieved. He carried on working hard, keeping his head down. So far, no one had been fired, but everyone thought it was just a matter of time. New bosses always meant a loss of jobs.

By lunch time, Yunho was already exhausted. He bought his ramen and grabbed a seat next to his friend, Oguri Shun. Shun had decided to teach Japanese to Yunho, for wish Yunho was eternally grateful. At first Yunho had been worried Shun wanted something in exchange, but Shun was actually engaged to a beautiful young girl.

“Hey, Yunho!”
“Shun! Aw man, I’m so tired!”
“Um, yeah. Listen, you’re gay right?”
“What?!”
“Clam down, I don’t care. It’s just my fiancé has a friend who just broke up with his boyfriend, and she says he’s really really nice and buff. Do you want me to set something up?”
“As much as I appreciate the offer, I don’t have the time. Work is all I do at the moment. But thanks. And say thanks to Inoue for me.”
“Your loss.” Shun shrugged.
“Jung, I would like to see you in my office, please. Straight away.” Yunho looked around to see Kim Jaejoong walking away.
“Argh, that guy’s such a bastard.” Muttered Shun. Yunho seriously loved this guy.

“You wanted to see me, sir?”
“Take a seat, Jung. I’ve been reviewing your performance charts.”
“Oh?”
“Very impressive, Jung.” Yunho could’ve jumped for joy. He wasn’t being fired!
“What made you want to work in a country that you that can’t speak the language of? It’s very brave.”
“I guess the opportunities. I also am learning Japanese when I have time.”
“I see. Jung?”
“Yes sir?”
“You’re gay, huh?” Oh Shun, you arse. You and your damned loud voice!
“Why do you care sir?”
“I’ll take that as a yes. Turn around, Jung.”
Confused, Yunho slowly turned 360˚, aware of his boss’s eyes on him.
“Hmm. Very nice. Now take your shirt off.”
“Excuse me?!” Yunho couldn’t believe Jaejoong actually said that. It must be his bad Japanese.
“I said, take your shirt off.” Jaejoong repeated, this time in Korean.
Not sure quite what to do, Yunho took his suit jacket off slowly, then his tie. He felt extremely uncomfortable taking his shirt off, and even managed to shake a little. When he was half naked, with just his pants on, Yunho stood in front of Jaejoong, nervous as hell.
“Hmm. You work out?”
“Yep.”
“It shows. Well, you can go now. Good bye.”
“I can go…?” Yunho quickly threw his shirt back on, grabbed his tie and jacket, running out of the room.

Yunho was re - heating his diner when he decided something. He was tired of being alone. It wasn’t quite a revelation, but nonetheless it helped Yunho to reach for his phone and call Shun.
“Yunho?”
“Shun, do you still have that friend’s number?”
“Oh, yes, we do! Inoue will be so happy! Hold on a sec.”
“Thanks.”

Two hours later and Yunho had himself a date for tomorrow night. Nikishido Ryo and he were meeting at Club Naught tomorrow night. With any luck Yunho would get lucky and get laid. If not, he would at least meet someone new, and possibly have a boyfriend. Happy, Yunho changed into him pajamas, and slipped into bed.

Saturday seemed to last forever. Yunho had the day off, thanks God, and tidied his apartment. He knew he should be practicing speaking Japanese, but he didn’t have the energy. He spent a long time changing, then changed again. He washed his hair and got his shoes. He was meeting Ryo at eight and it was now seven thirty.

Getting in his car, Yunho drove into the city and looked for a parking space. Once he found one, he had a ten minute walk to Club Naught. He was nervous - he hadn’t been on a date in a long time. His last boyfriend had been back in Korea. Stepping inside the club, Yunho was washed over by the smell of sweat. Loud music throbbed throughout the club, and strobe lights flashed. The club was on two levels. The ground floor was the dance floor, while upstairs were separate rooms with windows looking down on the dance floor, like balconies.

Yunho went to the bar and ordered a drink. Ryo was late. Yunho swallowed his drink and ordered another.
“Yunho?” He swiveled round to see a handsome man smiling at him.
“Hi! Ryo, right?”
“Nice to meet you!”
“You too. Want a drink?”
“Hmm.” The two sat down, smiling tensely.
“Look, I think I should just let you know, I’ve just got out of a three year relationship - I’m not looking for anything serious.” Yunho smiled, slightly relieved.
“I’m not looking for a serious thing either. I’m too busy with work.” Glad to have got that out of the way, the two continued to talk for about an hour.
“Do you want to dance?”
“Yeah.” Grinning, Yunho lead the way to the floor and before he knew it the two where grinding up to each other. Ryo was an excellent dancer, Yunho could tell. Dancing was one of Yunho’s passions. He loved it. He loved everything about it. He felt Ryo’s hands grab his butt, so he put his hands on the other’s waist.

However, after five minutes the two were exhausted. Or, at least, Ryo was. Yunho danced enough to be able to go longer then that.
“Do you want a drink?”
“Yes please.” Panted Ryo.
Moving towards the bar Yunho had to squeeze past several people, not really paying attention to what they looked like. He ordered to vodka and coke’s when he heard a familiar voice behind him.
“Nice dancing Jung.” Oh no, it couldn’t be. This was not possible. Turning slowly around, Yunho cringed as he saw his boss. His boss, however, was not dressed like a boss. Fitted black jeans and a tight gray sweater with a silver necklace. Simple but classy.
“Kim - San! What are you doing here?”
“Buying cocaine.”
“Wh-what?!” Yunho was shocked by the series look on Jaejoong’s face, only too hear Jaejoong laugh.
“You’re too easy to wind up. But I wouldn’t have thought this was your kinda scene. Why are you here?”
“I’m on a date.”
“With that guy over there? Don’t worry, I’m not a homophobic.”
“I’d already worked that out… After you asked me to strip and all.”
Jaejoong laughed again, and Yunho felt less nervous.
“Do you want to dance with me?” Yunho wasn’t really aware of the words coming out of his mouth until Jaejoong asked “What about your boyfriend?”
“He’s not my boyfriend.”
“Still, I think it would be cruel towards him. Maybe next time ne.”

The rest of the night passed well, and Ryo even invited Yunho home. The experience was pleasant - enjoyable even, but throughout the whole thing Yunho wished Jaejoong had accepted that dance.

Yunho figured that this, fascination, with Jaejoong was just because he had been rejected, but all through Sunday he thought of nearly nothing but that man. He and Ryo had decided not to see each other again - it had been a one night thing, that was all. He had also decided that he needed to confront these apparent feelings he was having.

It was on the train ride to work that Yunho had fully formulated this plan. He was going to talk to Jaejoong, make sure that the other was had no feelings for him. After all, Jaejoong hadn’t refused full stop, but just because of Ryo, who was now out of the picture.

When he arrived at work Shun ran up to him, asking how it had gone.
“It was good.”
“Really? Inoue was really worried about you!”
“Why?” Why would she worry about him?
“Well, Ryo told her he was only on the rebound. She felt really bad after she found out, bless her!”
“Tell her not to worry. To be honest, I got what I wanted.”

Barging into Jaejoong’s office, Yunho opened his mouth but was silenced when Jaejoong held up his hand. He was on the phone, presumably to America since he was speaking in English. Yunho didn’t understand a word of it, except occasionally ‘Odagiri’.
“Alright, alright, good bye. Thank you.” Hanging up the phone, Jaejoong turned to Yunho.
“What is it, Jung?”
“About Saturday, I-”
“Oh yes, how did your date go?”
“Good. About that dance. Do you want to go out sometime?”
“Ok.” Yunho felt frozen. Did he really accept? Yunho’s heartbeat drastically increased.
“Tonight good?”
“Yeah. I’ll come by here, your office, later.” Yunho stood facing Jaejoong for a second before swooping in for a kiss. Jaejoong’s lips were oh so soft, and tasted of… bananas for some reason. Jaejoong pulled away and looked Yunho in the eye.
“Do you want to skip dancing tonight and just go to a hotel now?”
“Forward much?” Yunho laughed, feeling so elated.
“Ever since I saw you last week I imagined you naked behind me. Forward enough?”
“Wait, I’m not going to be fired am I?”
“No. Unless the I leave the hotel room disappointed. Or don’t enter at all.”
“I don’t really have a choice then, do I?”
“No. You don’t.”
Smiling, Yunho pulled Jaejoong into another long kiss.
“Actually, screw the hotel.” Murmured Jaejoong as he locked the office door and drew the blinds. “Take me now.”
