My mom-I can't remember the context of the conversation now-pointed out that my pronunciation was off, and considered it rather ironic as I can often be rather anal about grammar. XD Well, I find it more egregious on tv, because it's written by people who get paid to you know, write. That and it's more difficult to believe a genius is supposed to be a genius...(this may largely stem from instances on 'Bones'...XD)

To my surprise, when I took a couple of linguistics classes I found out that linguists are the most relaxed people in the world when in comes to "correct" language and grammar. Turns out language changes so much, so quickly, getting bothered by any of it is just causing yourself needless stress. "Wrong" only really applies if you're not making yourself understood.
