Hey guys, I know it's been ages. I also know that I made a fiction journal just for fiction stuff so you wouldn't have to see it if you didn't want to. Well screw that. So I had a rare opportunity to sit down at the computer (happens every couple of weeks) and I have no idea why I clicked on LJ (can't even remember the last time I was there), but I did. And I saw this post. And it made me happy.

Hi!!! I'm back! There's only like one active person on my friends list now, and then I guess you from time to time. I'll probably be around a lot more because of this project I'm doing, but I didn't expect anyone from the good ol' days of LJ to show up!

OMG dude I had a dream about Sig7 a few nights ago, probably because I saw it listed in my LJ interests. Blast from the freakin' past!

I'm actually dealing with the flu, so I just lost about a week of my life. Other than that, I'm good!

Have I mentioned lately how much we love living in Portland? Seriously. SUCH a great city. And I keep thinking how much you would love it here.

(When I say such things out loud, Chris points out how it's been over a decade since you and I hung out regularly, and it's entirely possible I don't know you well enough to know whether this would be a good city for you now. While that's true, I still think it would be great. I really, really do. And I think you should come visit. It's possible I'll kidnap you and make you stay, but really I think it's more likely you'll just never want to leave and immediately begin planning an official move.)

Ahh Sig7. Did we ever get those other studio recordings from Greg? I have most of them, but not from the extra day when he recorded it on something else. I think it was from dirty, very. I was always a little bummed I didn't have those ( ... )

Yeah no worries. I'm only on LJ for this one thing anyway. We'll have to get on the electronic mail at some point. Re: Portland tho -- I'm sure it's great. Lots of people I know love it. For now I'm Baltimore-bound; Alex's friends and family are all here. But we're open to moving if something prompts it, like if I graduate and get some cool job somewhere else or if Alex does (but I need to graduate first either way). I need to come visit, in any case.

I don't think we got them. You had something we used to listen to in the car, but I don't remember what all was on that now. Humm...
