But busy. Very busy.

One room in my house has been out of commission for over two months. Discovered lovely stachybotrys cultures all over the place, an improperly installed roof and poor construction/design of the room created a wonderful 8-year free for all for the little buggers. holy cats! i'm so sorry to hear about the mold stuff.. it's my biggest fear as i go into being a homeowner again.

flickr/picasa? I don't care as long as we get to see her soon! congratulations! actually, i like picasa a bit better from the browsing standpoint, but i've not used it to share/host photos.

If the mold stuff scares you then have a trusted someone who knows roofs look at everything... don't just trust the city inspector / home inspector... get a carpenter or roofer. My neighbor took one look at mine after we found the leak and spotted a bunch of other trouble spots. Fixed up the roof on the addition really well, too. I highly recommend avoiding this if you can. HIGHLY recommend.

Maybe you could keep a few asexually-reproducing, filamentous fungi as pets?

You would definitely have the most unique pet on the block.
