I had some bloodwork done last Friday and I know my doctor received the results today cause she phoned the house while I was at work. While she talked to my wife, I'm pretty sure if I had answered the phone the doctor would have told me, "We need to talk." While it is not a "Get him to an ER! Stat!" event, you know it can't be that good either
