That's right - no money. At least not until next week when payday hits. I've yet to do my income tax return as well, so hopefully the government will give me some of MY money back - that would help. My 7 year old daughter probably has more money than I do at the moment. She's collected a pretty decent amount of cash from the tooth fairy alone,

I feel your pain, brother. It's terrible to be broke with a week until payday. I don't get paid until next Friday either - hence my plans to spend my Saturday night cleaning my aunt's house for cash. Certain aspects of adulthood suck eggs bad!

Hubby took a job delivering pizza 3 nights a week (usually 4 hours tops) and it brought an extra $150 a week plus free food.

He was 33. Don't think your too old for it, you actually get more tips because your older!

Its a thought but it sucks that two incomes can't make it nowdays. This makes no sense - I'm having to sell the house because we lost my income for 2 years without disability income (I owned my company, personal assitant and professional housecleaner so in demand I had a waiting list).

So now I'm scraping to upgrade the things that will make the house sell - but it sucks since the lot can be divided and sold in 4 years...I was hoping we could hold out that long and sell it ourselves then build and sell the house. We are taking a huge loss here because of our current administration outsourcing so many jobs and income that could be put into state and government programs here.

Isn't it odd to find it somewhat comforting that you're not the only one suffering financial hardships? It's not a "misery loves company" thing - I think it's more knowing that others are experiencing the same things. I wish I had a money tree. Or maybe Publisher's Clearing house really WILL give me a million dollars.
