I hear people say, "We get a vacation day on Monday, which is good: I hate Mondays, and we'll get to skip over it and start work on Tuesday!" Do not be fooled: The first day of the workweek, whether it falls on Tuesday, Wednesday, or whatever, will ALWAYS be that weeks Monday. I'm not sure why half the population took a day off while the other half didn't, it seemed a kind of hit and miss thing. Whats up with Monday off after the 4th when in years past there has been no Thursday or Tuesday off the 5th? (trust me, I ponder stranger things)

As for your son, maybe they did swap and you have a different baby. Ever think of that? ;)
