Why do you sound like you're building a new stand? We've already got one.

I took the liberty of inspecting the existing stand, but it's far below acceptable standards. The best thing to do is to start from scratch.

It doesn't have to stand up to a prolonged military assault. It just has to hold bread for high school students.

NCE 97, Osaka. A criminal killed seven people and injured another twenty by covertly planting a bomb in a vending stand.

Surveillance equipment set around the perimeter would aid in detecting the perpetrators. I believe we have some older, decommissioned equipment on base that should suffice.

Good idea. I'll request some after hours, and set them up before school starts.

If you can figure out a way to upload computerized sensors, you may be able to designate acceptable people within certain limits, you can also mount nonlethal traps to deter theft and tampering.

I don't have access to the financial data, but the problem of theft is more than an economic one.

Why go through all the trouble? It's not like this is Yakitake Japan where bread is like the most godly of foodstuffs. Or Bartender where people have the same crazy reactions to the beer they do to Yakitake's bread...

Besides, unless the store's had a history of theft before, isn't this going to just be a waste of time?

"Unforeseen circumstances..." Do I even want to know what happened?

There was a minor accident caused by an unfortunate misunderstanding.
