Aside from the members, her parents and -well- shinyoung-unnie, Taeyeon is positive that nobody knows of this peculiar sleeping-habit of hers.
It all started from the angel prize festival fiasco and Taeyeon swore that she can still feel the ghostly burning sensation of the man's grip on her right arm from time to time.
It was the night after the festival when Taeyeon felt an additional weight shifted her bed. After a sound of rustling bed-sheet and a smell of cherry-blossom later, Taeyeon felt a pat on her head and heard a soft whisper of "It's okay, Tae.. You're safe now.." from Sunny.
Her dam broke. All the tears that she held in throughout the day came out. Her anger, her disgust, her helplessness and most of all, her fears. She was afraid of that man. She insisted on holding in her tears throughout the day because crying in the public meant that she showed her weakness, and she also knew that nobody can possibly look cute when they are crying and trying to breathe at the same time. They'll just look stupid. But there she was, shaking from crying in her roommate's arms, feeling like a retard for trying to breathe but kept on choking on her tears and snot instead.
She didn't know when she fell asleep that night but she woke up to a soft and warm figure against her.
"Sunny.."
Her voice was quiet but she knew she was heard when an equally quiet "mmmm" escaped the other girl's throat.
The room fell silent for a while until Sunny asked "what is it, Tae?"
"I think.... we sorta kinda like hugging..."
"And?"
"Doesn't it bother you?"
Taeyeon didn't know why, but she felt nervous after she asked that question. The silence was killing her and she wasn't sure if she wanted to know the answer..
"Does it bother you?" Came the soft reply.
Taeyeon surrendered. She shrunk further into Sunny's embrace and whispered "I feel safe.."
Taeyeon's confession sounded a lot quieter than she intended to be, but she felt her timidity melted away as Sunny's grip around her waist tightened.

This morning was like any other previous nights when Taeyeon realized that she woke up in the arms of a sleeping Sunny yet again, but this morning Taeyeon returned the long over-due favor by taking one of her giant peas-in-a-pod plushie and made one of its smiling peas to kiss her roommate as she whispered "thank you, Sunny."
