What purpose do flies serve?

None! That's what purpose... I was woken up by one of those flying diseases this morning. I was laying there, sleeping soundly, having one of the weirdest dreams, when this fly decides it's going to make a game of flying SMACK into my forehead again and again and again... Then I guess it decided that that wasn't enough so it took a dive up my nose
