I am wonderful. Wedding planning is coming along, my sister's having a baby in a couple months, I'm moving to an awesome apartment (with a bedroom!) next month, and I'm still 'gainfully' employed.
Awww, don't worry about the surgery too much! I'm sure it'll be no biggy at all. And if you're hobbling around on crutches people will coddle you to no end :)
I spent a while last night going through all your 365 pictures and they're all amazing. I'm jealous!
I wish I knew what to say to make you feel better, but I know how scary it can be. Particularly when they bring that big-arse needle out. I haven't had an arthrogram done (though I might need one on my knee) but I did have oral surgery that required a huge needle for some reason. The Dr made the mistake of flashing it in front of me before knocking me out, so until then I was freaking out at the sight of that huge needle.
But trust me, as someone who has put up with joint pain for 13 years for fear of dealing with it, it's so worth it to get looked at. I hope all goes well for you.
It probably wont be painful, but it might feel gross. That's why I hate needles. I never had a problem with them until I went to a dentist once, and he stuck the needle in my jawbone. It didn't hurt in the slightest, but I nearly fainted from the grossness. Ever since then every time I see a needle I want to cry. But I probably shouldn't be telling you this :-P

Are they sure it's not sciatica or something along those lines?
