I haven't seriously drawn a comic in a year, so I'm fixing that. Ugh, very suck. The only way to get better at drawing comics is to draw comics though. This is 1 of 8 pages. Dunno if I'll tone or color it... probably tone. [lazy, cheap.] Goals for these coming 8 pages: 1: suck less. 2: practice drawing interior environs.

Anyhoo- I know you stress out about anatomy a lot. I learned the most awesome thing about anatomy just this winter- it's all about proportion! I took Kevin Chen's analytical anatomy class and was blown away by the stupid easy proportion tricks I had no idea about. If you nail the proportion and the gesture the rest is just details and usually fuzzable even if you don't really know all the muscles. Besides- your details are always envy worthy so I know you rockzors there.
If ya give me your current email me I can pass along his notes. He has some kickass tricks about finding the right locale of the bottom of the ribcage and making sure the feet hit the right part of your tail bone so the thigh and calf are the right length. Lots of great stuff.
Back to comics. You always hit the details out the park and this is no exception. Super cute last panel too. Hurrah for comics!
