The hat in question was a black hat... beyond description. If you can envision ten thousand intoxicated cheriba in the form of a hat, that was it.

I left it at a house full of Central American celebrants after a filling meal of Feijoada, down in Virginia. Life is strange.

If I go to NYC today as planned, I may try to strike up a hatty conversation with its twin.
