I saw Matrix Revolutions last nights...
What the crap?
Dude, let me just start out by saying that movie sucked. I LOVED the first Matrix. It was SO cool and awesomeful. The second one was pretty darn good as well, I just didn't care for the ending. This one... ick.
First of all, I already knew that Trinity was going to die, so I wasn't all shocked and upset like Tony and my mom were when we saw it. The spoilers I read sort of hinted at Neo's death, but didn't come right out to say it. More about his death later.
The actress playing the Oracle was so not as good as the old one. The other one was funny and all mysterious. Much cooler than the new chick.
I heard that Persephone was supposed to have this big part and she was in this movie for like 130 seconds. Which by the way, that scene was more gross than the dancing scene in the last movie. I guess it was great if you're a slashy kind of girl, which I'm not.
Was I the only one annoyed by the hour long sentinel scene? I mean they just kept coming and coming. And it wasn't cool like in The Two Towers where the orcs kept coming and was so cool. This just seemed to drag on forever and ever. I was like, "Oh.great.more.sentinels."
Totally did not enjoy the scene where Neo's eyes got messed up. I don't know how many of you are watching the Buffy reruns on FX but a couple of days ago Xander's eye got poked out and it was so gross and painful looking. I didn't need to see another dramatic eye scene.
Also did not like the part where Neo turned into another Agent Smith. Not very cool if ya ask me. And then he just died. I spent 15 dollars to see these two movies and 3 dollars to rent the first one just to see him die? *rolls eyes*
What I did like: Niobe. Awesome scene when she was driving the ship. She is one uber cool woman! I kept waiting for her and Morpheus to snog.
Gina Torres (aka Ana Espinosa from Alias)! I love her!
