Time to show those evil spuds what's what

The other day during film/video production [a course I'm taking at Penn], the class hipster made the remark that "gore in movies is what people do when they want to do something easy."

This comment really rankled me, due to the fact that this guy's own final project, which he had just finished screening for us, was an "experimental documentary"

when i took screenwriting at penn, and the prof sexually harassed me and a couple other girls in the class, and we (the girls and i) mentioned it on the last day before the prof arrived, SEVERAL of the boys looked around wistfully and said, "man, why can't i get sexually harassed? girls get all the fun."

these men need to be beaten to death with their own bloody legs.

also, however, the video production class i took at swarthmore gave opportunity to other unsatisfactory, simplistic, silly males to make movies. ugh.

wow, geez!!

my class has a totally different power dynamic. basically, our teacher is a really flaky woman who never has a class plan together and comes up with the worst ideas for projects. she doesn't even know how to connect the dvd player to the tv, and our class time would usually be spent watching 45 minutes of "american beauty," and talking about how "symmetrical" it was.

so the hipster usually ends up trying to rule the class, and he only respects one other student, who is this guy who knows a lot about sound. needless to say i skipped class allllllll the time and basically just used my enrollment to gain access to penn's production equipment.
