Whole Wheat Dough

It may be a tinge upsetting, but I will live with it. The whole wheat dough program on our bread machine takes about an hour longer than the white bread dough. It is actually for 50/50 whole wheat/white. I could have just made white bread rolls, but I can't help but feel like the ingredients in white bread and the ingredients in paste that we ( Read more... )

i read your mood as indestructable. never mind.

and as for the paste, in the first series of You Are What You Eat, "Dr" Gillian McKeith used to pick up peoples white bread and scream at them "ITS GLUE!!!!!" I couldnt eat white bread for quite some time after that.

I imagine I'll still make the white rolls depending on which flour we have handy, but if the half wheat ones are nice (hey they could be half seeded brown and half Granary), then I'll lean towards those. I still have to try one! I bet they'll make nice brekkie baps.

I suppose my mood was leaning a bit towards indestructiable once I made fresh corn tortillas and pulled fresh rolls out of the oven.
