I just found your LJ through your member listing over at The Balanced Force Forum .

I really enjoyed this first chapter. I like this more pro-active Padme. Never did care for weepy Padme in Episode 3.

I hope you update soon.

I do like AU fics. This is a good start. I'll be checking back.

Your Padme has some sense, too. I like that. :)

And poor Obi-Wan--he was played for a fool by Anakin, but I think that Anakin didn't mean it in that light. He probably thought that he was protecting Obi and also himself and Padme. *shakes head*

Obi-Wan doubting Qui-Gon? Even if just for a moment, that is quite the concept. This Padme seems the competent politician like she was in the first two movies, able to seek help, to delegate. She would be the one to ask for directions, after all. Am looking forward to reading more of your work.
