I think i'm going to add a video capture card to my main PC and hopefully be able to retire my Tivo.

Currently i'm running windows 7 ultimate and I have a xbox 360 that i plan on using to stream my recordings onto the livingroom television.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of setup? Any suggestions?

Does your cable company allow cable cards? With most cable companies you need something beyond your tuner card to be able to watch/record cable channels through your computer.
