So I have had no internet in my room for the past week and half (since a big lightning storm on Monday), and the issue was finally resolved yesterday. The head technician guy resolved that something in my motherboard has failed and it is time to replace my antique (2005) laptop. I have to say that I'm not totally against that, but it's terrible
