Oddly enough, Bowling for Soup does that. That's the one pop song that I don't have a problem with... it's just so... the first time I heard it I cracked up and now every time it comes on I start singing it. I recently joined http://www.broadjam.com/, which is apparently a place for musicians to "get-noticed". I haven't listened to many songs on there yet, and the few songs I reviewed were somewhat mediocre; but they have "top-10" lists which have the best-reviewed songs according to various categories, so there may be some good ones tucked away in there somewhere.

O~, AKA "Nordlys" on Broadjam

I actually kinda like Fountains of Wayne, especially "Hey Julie."

Oh, and you are definitely not missing something when it comes to that Tim McGraw and Nelly duet. That song is definitely a suckfest for the ages.

Fountains of Wayne isn't half bad. "Stacy's Mom" is the catchiest thing since the flu. I can't think of the other bands I know sound just like each other, though.. that was one of them that popped in my head and sometimes they sound just like other bands. Ah, whatever.
