What a sweet memory! :-) I loved choir in high school. But I did go on the trip junior year--it was to Disney World. We sang at Pleasure Island and the marching band and pom squad marched in the character parade at the Magic Kingdom. Good times.

Our trip was to somewhere in Arkansas. We had a car wash and bake sale to try to raise money for it. In the end I knew it would a Pointless Waste of Time because of all the funloving troublemakers in the group and I decided I'd be better off sticking it out on my own. Funny thing is after they came back, everybody looked really hungover and nobody mentioned the trip at all.

And that is one of the classic reasons I want to work with other people musically... I've had that experience one other time in an instrumental setting and it's just fabulous in every way.
