Went Christmas shopping with my son today.

There is absolutely nothing like a pre-teen's sense of wonder. Or sense of where precisely the Lego sets and video games he wants might be...

I'm going to sound very old and say "it used to be better". Although we're working on a pretty awesome space station.

I'm sure I'll be making some... but I try not to get my wife drunk while she still has life or death power over her patients, cute as she is.

You remember those as a kid?! I had a whole tin of them growing up. I had the whole town playset.

You ought too, they were on sale at toys r us.

Oh I've been alright, between school starting up again and the new little addition I've been keeping quite busy. What about you old timer? How is wedded bliss treating you?

Actually when I was a kid, Abraham Lincoln and I built our own log cabins.

Oh, it's genuinely blissful. New addition? Did I miss another lil' Thackery?
