How curious.

What's this, then?

A little book to write my thoughts in?

How apt, as I have so much to say.

I had an interesting chat with a Doxy that has taken up residence in my flat. There is only one at the moment, but I suspect more will arrive. I am just about to test my theory that incendio will work just as well as Doxycide ( Read more... )

Oh? I did not think one would voluntarily play with Doxies.

Where would you have found Doxies, Mrs Lestrange - isn't it?

A doxy is a rather boring companion when compared to a baby acromantula, a cruppy, and a python--which was Cissy's, t'be truthful.

What an impressive collection of creatures. I have had the privilege, if you would call it that, of seeing a full grown Acromantula.

HA HA HA

Just don't burn down your house or my brother and I are probably going to be called in to take care of it since it qualifies as a Magical Catastrophe.

It was only the curtains, Prewett, I wouldn't worry too much.

I would think you would be too busy with the splinching to pay heed to a simple house fire.

When a wizard is splinched and impaled on a fence, it's the end of their case. When a curtain catches fire, a house could burn down, it could spread across the neighbourhood and destroy an entire district.

That was the extent of your thoughts? I worry for you, Augustus. Not too much, though.

I appreciate your concern, Malfoy.

I would appreciate you using your book to report on more interesting things than what you wine you had for lunch.
