Well, the trip down to Kuwait went off without too many problems. We flew back up to Balad last night and caught a ride with a convoy picking up a bunch of 1st ID soldiers coming into country. I'm now waiting at the south end of Tikrit at FOB Packhorse to get something to eat with the rest of my group. I'll probably post again soon. Peace.

Well, we made it to Kuwait in one piece. We had a fun time driving around down here though, the convoy commander got lost and we almost drove right to the Kuwait/Saudi border. Anyway, we're getting our vehicles ready for redeployment to Ft. Hood soon. I'm exhausted, it's like 2 in the morning, so I'm gonna go sleep. Ciao!

Well, we're sitting over at Camp Omaha now, where 299th Engineers are. We're leaving tomorrow for the crazy trip south. We got word that things are crazy in and around Baghdad, so hopefully nothing happens. Well, that's about it, you guys probably won't hear from me for about five to seven days after this post. Guard duty on the tower sucked ass yesterday, it started out bad, because the wind was blowing like three hundred miles an hour, and there was a sandstorm trying to blow through.
