If you're still borrowing him, I can give you a strategy. ^_^ Don't worry, I had problems with him too. Make sure you have a lot of potions and magic + HP boosting stuff equipped. Whenever he starts to dash around really fast (he'll say something before he does) glide around. Keep slashing him afterward and repeat. Always refill your HP if it hits below half.
