Hope this is on topic! I have no fic for you guys yet (*tear tear*) but as I was going over recent fic today I was attacked by a bunny - suddenly my brain was like "I want Horatio/Simpson, dammit, and the more violent and non-conny the better!" ( Duel spoilers! )

Thank you for that plotbunny! I'm sure there will be someone who wants to adopt it! If not, keep it in mind for the kink-ficathon that will come up as soon as the monthly challenges are over. :)

And I'll see what I can do, myself. It's been quite some time since I've written the last real Hornblower fic, but maybe inspiration hits me and I'll write the fic for you. :)

Whee! My bunny will find a loving home! I've been badgering empy with it, and even started some scribbles of my own, but the more angsty Horatio/Simpson non-con the merrier, I say. Because at the moment, the Google search for Horatio/Simpson slash brings up 1 result - my LJ. Which doesn't even have any. And it's scary... Oh, and re: bunny - there's a perfect fade-to-black just before Horatio talks about death that can fit this all in...

Well, the only non-con Simpson fic that has been posted in this community so far is "The Brave" by pint_of_boyd, but it's Simpson/Clayton, not Simpson/Hornblower.

But you're right, it's quite weird that there's no Simpson/Hornblower fic. After all, there's lots of subtext to exploit...

From all of the non-con Simpson fic I read it's never Horry, despite the blatant fade-to-black in the movie. Horatio is still bruised and in the rigging before that, and after that, his wounds are almost healed but he's thinking of killing himself, and wanting to stand against Simpson - and the lines "I'd never be free of him then" accompanied by trembling lips and Clayton's "You don't know half of what he's capable of" just scream that something must have happened there... *hides from the bunny of doom* This bunny could have some of Clayton angst too - feeling guilty that he didn't want Horatio of the other things Simpson's capable of...
