I'm sorry, but I really love Valentine's Day! I don't care that Jack Layton is the closest thing to a valentine I've got this year*, because the one year I actually did have a valentine? It kind of sucked! All subsuquent years have been much more fun. This year I've got Of Montreal records, I've got chocolate, I've got head to toe pink clothing, I' ( Read more... )

HOLY I SAW THOSE IN THE FRIDGE THIS MORNING & IT TOOK ALL MY WILLPOWER TO NOT EAT THEM ALL FOR BREAKFAST. they're eggs... they count as acceptable breakfast foods.

also, i say we get some plain sunshine yellow vinyl to recover our coffeetabletop. what say you!

You're more than welcome to sample the eggs! In fact, I encourage it! But I think some people would be very sad if you ate allll of them! I think I'm going to make some more during reading week for us to consume since these are being given away.

If we can find some of this magical sunshine yellow vinyl, I agree! Did you notice any at Fabricland? I can't recall seeing any there. I've seen red & electric blue & all kinds of aqua, but never yellow!

Wow 8 hours! That's some commitment to vegan creme eggs. They look lovely, and sound delicious.
I always enjoy your pictures.

The good part about it taking eight hours though, is that at least it's not eight hours of solid work! And when you have friends to help you do the work and wait around with you, it makes things much more enjoyable!

And thank you ever so!

well, if you made me one, you obviously unfortunately can't give it to me in person, so you can mail it to me. and tell me now if you want. haha.

OF COURSE I MADE YOU ONE! I LOVE ME SOME JAMIE! And even if I didn't like you so much, I seriously made them for absolutely evvvveryone!

AHEM! (reading voice)

JAMIE

if we lived in the same city, the amount of money we'd spend on concert roadtrips would be ridiculous / dangerous, but so awesome. you're so great!

And I will totally add it to the evergrowing pile of outdated mail I owe you (old letters, old mixtape, old draing colleen did of you...). Hehe. Once I start/finish your mittens, this fucker (fucker being the package) is going to be sent off, once and for all!

TYPEWRITER TWINS! I love that little thing and the confusing carrying case it comes with. Why would a person need to carry around a typewriter? It makes no sense! Maybe some day it will come in handy, though!

And a Happy Valentine's Day to you too! Shall I send your little paper heart with your mittens (which are now completed)?

OMG yes!!! How are you so fast at knitting!? You're OOC! It's so great!

Also, I have totally used the carrying case, for this typewriter and for my other one! Hee hee. It comes in handy for moving, and for taking to typewriter to other people's houses. The trick that I find works well for this typewriter is to put the back part into the case first, and then press the case down until it clicks. Maybe that helps? xoxoxo

I am not friends with my typewriter case right now because it EATS THE TYPEWRITER! It will not release once it is inside, and I always have to pry it open with a chisel / screwdriver / butter knife :( Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or more than likely, the reason it was at value village for $3 is BECAUSE the carrying case eats it!

Hopefully the mitties fit! I'll definitely send them before I leave for New York, so you should have them soon! xo!

OF COURSE I MADE YOU A VALENTINE! I reallyreally hope to go tonight but I have a six page paper (which I haven't started yet... oops?) due tomorrow. I get the feeling having fun will win out over being responsible, but I don't want to promise anything. Anyway, I will most likely see you there and bring it for you! Happy valentine's day!
