I have been having a lot of random adventures lately (what, with 2am weeknight Elgin Street Diner outings, impromptu sleepovers, and skating on the Canal FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!). All I planned to do tonight was catch up on laundry and get groceries. Instead, there were some ridiculous and random and totally unplanned adventures. Today was all ( Read more... )

I ALMOST WENT TO BANE TONIGHT!
But I had no money!
We could have felt out of place together!

PS. DID YOU LOVE THE CANAL?

OH, YOU SHOULD HAVE COME!! I totally would have sat on the sidelines with you and made pained faces when things got extra screamy.

I was secretly kind of happy to find out about the extra +1 on the guestlist because I didn't have money either and I knew it would be fun(ny).

AND YES I HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THE CANAL! But I am pretty much the most grandmotherly skater ever. So slow and so wobbly and so "It's so cold! Ow, I hurt all over already!"

It was totally the hottest thing that has ever happened in he history of ever! I wish Montreal was 2 minutes away from Ottawa for many reasons, and this gives me one more. You know you are more than welcome to come visit whenever you like! Tasha and I do lots of fun things like gossiping about boys and making crafts and stuffing our faces, mostly.

Thank you for not giggling at me too much at Bane. Teehee.

pfffttt...
it's okay to stand out against what everyone else is wearing when you're dressed way better than they are. hooray for you not looking like something billy talent vomited up.

i honestly can't wait for the day in a few years when i'm wearing some sweet business suit and manolo blahnik shoes (okay i'm going to have to be a really... good lawyer to do that), and then stroll into some show after a day at the office or in court. it will be hilarious/i will love it.

Teehee. I can't wait for the day you stroll in to that show wearing your business suit and Manolo Blahnik's! Mark my words, on that day, I will be there and I will applaud my little heart out for you! You already do your part in fighting the good fight (the fight for fashion consciousness, that is!), becuase you certainly don't look anything like "something billy talent vomited up ( ... )
