Oh, you! Don't worry about the cheating thing. My mum has been casting on the cheating way her entire life! I casted on the cheating way until last year! It doesn't make a huge difference if you do it properly, it just makes your edge look a little bit tidier is all.

Also I agree with your sentiment, for you are a dear of a girl. We should definitely hang out more often, in other words, ever! Name a time and a place, and I'm there!

Yes, what a cute little bottom it is!

My needle holding position is TOTALLY awkward though. Sometimes I hold the needles with my arms and my fingers look all crippled and arthritic and yucky! Don't be so down on yourself about your knitting skills or that beautiful mascot! I seriously think you should learn how to do freeform crochet becuase I think you would excel!

so cute! i just finished a line in my mega huge scarf! it could be a sweater!! the purpose of this project is solely practice, but it will be fun to wear a pink &green scarf that can double as a pancho in no time!

i am also an academic recluse! we should start a society!! we'll meet weekly in speakeasies and unlearn everything a week worth of schooling has taught us!

I have these HUGE GINORMOUS needles that are the best for making huge scarves. You just use two strands of yarn at once and bam, huge scarf in an evening!

Secretly I think reclusiveness is kind of awesome in many ways, but being reclusive with other people is the idealest of the ideal. I vote yes to this society!
