This is just one of those times when no matter how long I wait for an articulate and coherent way to say something it's just not going to happen. So

pam, she was by far one of the sweetest girls i ever had the privelege to meet and am so happy i was able to. i tried to write something but everytime i got to, i would just get too upset and need to stop. you should never feel guilty for how sad you feel about a situation like this, from knowing her more or less than anyone else, you still knew her, you enjoyed her company, and in that you should never feel guilty or selfish for being sad. you are more than entitled to it.
i have the cutest picture of brandie and i from the first night i met her down by the jersey shore. the great thing about her, was that she rememered everyone and alway always had a smile to give.
seriously this girl knew everyone. seriously, the world has lost somone amazing. we are all better people for knowing her.
i feel the same as you do pam. those kids must be missing her terribly and though i met her only twice i can only wish i knew her as well as the other kids did. they may be feeling a terrible loss but they gained so much for having her as a friend.
its crazy the impact she had on people...being the internerd i am news of this is flying everywhere. so many people are hurt, and pam you are most definately entitled to feel the way you do, as i feel im entitled to feel the way i do.
AWWW CUTE! Is that from when we all went to SEA? Is that our big swing of love? Awwwwwww! Smiles all around. Seriously, Brandie had one heck of a group of friends, which speaks worlds about what a great kid she was.
lo rides his bike everyday. i have him call me whenever he gets to work. b/c i WORRY. we have a "share the road with a cyclist" sticker on the back of our car.
that being said...i get SO SCARED for bikeriders. and i always was..but even more b/c lo rides everywhere.
i'm just so sorry for your loss. your friend. her family. there are never any words when someone dies so young. and unnecessarily. she was beautiful. and this is making me cry.
all my love, pamela. and we ARE so lucky to be alive. alive alive.
Ottawa is not terribly bad for biking and I'm even scared here. I can't imagine how terrified I would be south of the border, where it seems like bike lanes are pretty much nonexistent. Good for Lo for biking everywhere though. I guess the best way we can change things is to encourage more people to bike so that people will be more aware of the presence of cyclists. I'm always VERY aware when a big huge piece of machinery is coming toward me, but I feel like a lot of drivers are completely oblivious to the fact that I'm pushing along on the side of the road with my little blue bike.
i'm sorry to hear about this pam, i hope you're doing ok. dealing with something like this is hard, whether you only met once briefly or you're the best of buds.
i know we're not on the best of terms, but if you need to talk or just cry a little, i'm most definitely there.
A lot of death-y things are just compounding for me at once which probably makes it more difficult than it would otherwise be, but I'm tough, I'll be okay! I just need to especially fill my life with positivity and nice things for the next little while.
You know me, I'm not really one to talk about this kind of stuff with people and I pretty much tend to deal with things in my own quiet way, but I really do appreciate your offer and support is always welcome!
