It's been a difficult week, made very much not-less-difficult by certain persons slash circumstances. Tempting as it may be to get some of those stresses out of my system, I've had more enough grief about it this week already. In the spirit of being positive and not let my desire to put jerky people in their place overcome me, let's focus instead ( Read more... )

Preparing food?! Oooh, what are you making? I wish I had a reason to prepare food all day!

Thank you, dear. You deserve to be happy too, missy! Also, since I am unemployed right now if ever you want to have a craft date, NOW IS THE TIME! xo

The soy chocolate icecream from this place is SERIOUSLY my boyfriend. It tastes like frozen nutella! And in a little sugar cone... num num! I like gelato too, but the novelty of being able to get soy ice cream in a cone always wins me over.

On another frozen treat-related note, IMMEDIATELY before Caro and I bought your postcard we stuffed ourselves full of the most delicious tofu ice cream. Mine was maple walnut. So yummy!

Have you ever had the mango sorbet at the little place on Sparks near Bank? Ja, ja..it's a tacky/$$ place, but the sorbet is SOOO good..

Haha if anyone found out I thought that was the "best", they wouldn't trust my opinion anymore.. weird government worker icecream place.

I tried passing by last week on my bike and I asked for mango sorbet. "Next week.." she said with a pitying look on her face.

Hey, once upon a time I was a government worker and ate lunch with my coworkers on Sparks St. all the time. I'm in no position to judge!

What a sad story! I'm sorry they didn't have the sorbet. If you have access to a food processor it's apparently pretty easy to make. You should learn how and then you can have it in bountiful amounts any time you like!
