[When Hardison answers the door, he's half in coveralls splattered with paint and the goggles perched on the top of his head aren't much better. He meets Angela with a grin, and puts his hand to his chest.]

[He opens the door wider and reaches forward to take two of the plates off of her hands.] Sorry about the paint and the gadgets, just, watch out for screws and stuff.

Hardison had managed to secure to day off after fixing Tony's mess and restoring power to the myriad of transistors over the course of the night. It had come to completion when Hardison finally dragged himself into bed at about 7 in the morning, falling asleep in his day's clothes and only waking up when his device alarm blared at him for the 6th time at 6 that evening.
He's early if anything, though he chooses to wait for her outside the establishment rather than inside at a table. The weather's nice enough to enjoy and his nana taught him to open doors for ladies. So when he spots Angela, he gives her a little wave and moves to be able to swing the door open for her.

Unless he's under a time crunch, Hardison will never be upset about being a little behind schedule. It's another reminder of when he isn't running a job and has the luxury of taking his time. So Angela's apology receives a smile and a dismissive wave from Hardison.
"Don't even-- it's not even a thing." Then he touches a hand to her back and makes a show of scrutinizing her hair. "Hey now, a little wild ain't a bad thing."
