Very nice. Shame about the scratches -- it's a hard old life, isn't it, being clever?

The Doc-- [Hardison is choking and coughing and spluttering, now. He gains his composure back and blinks at the video for a little bit.]

...You have any experience with putting a collar on a cat? Headroom's...not feeling it.

I housesat for a couple of cats pretty often, it's- well, it's harder than it looks, as you're finding out. You have to get leverage by grabbing the scruff of their neck. They'll still be able to scratch you with their back claws, so you have to keep moving your arm out of the way. Just hold them like that for a few seconds, and they'll settle down a bit, and that's when you can try slipping it on. If you come in from above their heads, it takes them a little longer to grab at you with the front claws, so it's a little easier.
...I have no guarantees that'll work, by the way. It was just the method I had for Mitsy- which is really a very deceptive title. That cat was mean. [she realizes she's going on and grins] So you really named your cat Headroom? I thought I misheard that.
