This last week was...quite likely the most ridiculous example of omnipotent magic I've ever encountered. Changing our memories, changing the setting, and changing how we perceive the world without us being entirely aware of the fact these changes had occurred are amazing examples of incredible power; yet, it was used...for something so ridiculous. [Amoretta, of course, does not need a second invitation, and returns the hug, pulling Lillet as close as she can without choking the poor bookworm.
Like so, Amoretta is content, and for a fleeting moment even forgets the demons...]

Thank you...

*CAMERA FLASH*

Aah, a touching moment, both in the physical and emotional sense, a fusion of heart and soul whose power warms all those around. Could this be a 'Kodak Moment' ?

*with one hand, she reaches behind her and pulls out a small box* I have a an act of philanthropy which it is my fancy to execute. Please, take this.

...

I would like one of these ...photos...if possible...

[She then tilts her head slightly upon seeing the present and then looks at little Lillet]

Uhm...thank you...

[She takes it, and hands it to Lillet, to open it, it's only fair!]

I have a good feeling I know what this is...

[She opens the small box, revealing two rings.

Wedding rings, to be specific.]

Um...ah, you...you don't need to give us such an expensive gift, Elizabeth. Really.

They say that money is no object. ... where does that proverb come from? Is that a reference to intangible funds that are processed through transaction over the internet?

What is important is that those rings do not serve their purpose in a box, and I do not particularly wish to wear them. Without a doubt, they are more valuable to the two of you than they are to I.

Thank you.

[Amoretta, while not needing rituals that much herself, does seem to understand that for most people, marriage is an important ceremony symbolizing the bond of lovers, which apparently does require rings which in turn makes them important. She just isn't sure what is done with them, she never read about a marriage ceremony in detail]

But...How...are they used?

A wedding is a ceremony and gather to celebrate the joining of two lovers symbolically in a spiritual and familial sense. There are many different wedding ceremonies and practices in the world, as nearly every culture has separately developed their own method. In the case of rings, the are exchanged and worn as a tangible representation of the commitment to one another the couple shares.

They're wedding rings, Amoretta. Lovers exchange them.
