happiness sometimes surfaces from nowhere.

i'm discontent with a few things in life right now, but one constant that is steering me straight.

found out today that I secured a race number for the Chicago marathon. My next few months are going to be insane...

Sept 23 - Newport Half Marathon
Oct 7 - Chicago Marathon
Oct 20 - Double Century on the bike
Oct 21 - Staten Island Half Marathon
Oct 28 - Marine Corps Marathon
Nov 17 - Knickerbocker 60K

i just hope I can stay injury free.

wow, i feel like i've gotten crapped on by someone who is one of my best friends. its not even about what the person did, but its about the fact that they won't even make a phone call to inform me. haven't heard from said person in over 2 weeks...refuses to return phone calls.

everything is good right now. I'm fairly content with my working situation, although I'm getting a bit tired of working at the store. We dropped out stuff off at a friend's apartment and then jumped on the 1 train up to the bronx. It took about 45 minutes to get up there. As the train pulled into the station, we notice it started sprinkling. took out another trip today and got another number.

then on the train home this tall blonde kept looking at me and smiling. when she got off the train, she looked back, smiled and waved.

oh, and another chick from last weekend's trip emailed me asking me out.
