Rewarding
Being a teacher is rewarding. Yes, even being a substitute is rewarding. The fact that I am having an influence on a life or two (even when I don't know it) is such a blessing. Kindergarteners say the darnedest things!
Today I subbed in Kindergarten. I admit, I was a little anxious going into it because of all the grades I've subbed in, I hadn't done Kindergarten or 2nd grade (why 2nd grade teachers don't get sick, I don't know, but that's beside the point). I am a party animal.
Ok, so not so much a party animal. But I had a great time partying on New Year's Eve... Betsy hosted a party and invited a TON of people from church, 707, etc. It was so much fun.
